PSU International Achievement Scholarship
Portland State University (PSU) is delighted to announce the PSU International Achievement Scholarship for the session 2020/21. This prestigious scholarship is designed to support highly talented new international students who are eager to pursue their undergraduate degrees at PSU in the USA.

The selected candidates will receive an annual award amount of up to $4,500 from Portland State University.
- Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: All nationalities are eligible to apply.
- Course or Subjects: The scholarship covers undergraduate courses in 250 subject areas.
- Admissible Criteria:
- Master's and doctoral applicants may be eligible, subject to funding availability.
Students who have not yet met the TOEFL/English Language Proficiency requirement are eligible to apply. However, the support will be activated only after the ESL restriction has been lifted, and the students are fully eligible for unrestricted enrollment in academic classes.
The International Achievement award is available only to new applicants for up to 12 terms for freshmen and six terms for transfers. Students already enrolled at Portland State University are not eligible.
Application Deadline and Process
Application Deadline: September 1, 2020
- Interested candidates must first apply for admission to an undergraduate program at Portland State University. Upon enrollment, they can then complete the application form to access the scholarship fund.
- Supporting documents must include photocopies (never the original) of the required documents issued by the respective institutions.
- Eligible students typically have entering grade point averages (GPA) of at least 3.5 out of a possible 4.0 grading scale.
- Candidates must also meet all the English Language Requirements of the university.
